The Classic Offroad Show which is held this weekend at the Telford International Centre on the 4th & 5th February 2012. Trials UK is shipping a ton of gear down to the show to sell at unrepeatable prices, along with showing some impressive old and new bikes and the latest in quality electric OSET bikes.

 On show will be the first ever UK showing of the new Jotagas bike by Steve Saunders of Jotagas UK. Sherco, Gasgas & Beta will also have all the latest models on show to compliment the massive array of classic machines that you can get up close and personal with. 

This event not only showcases the best classic machines in existence, but also makes available a massive amount of new and old parts. The difference this year is the addition of modern trials. Trials UK now have tickets for the best indoor trial of the year at Sheffield Arena on Saturday 7th January 2012.

The worlds best riders are back in action showing us just what can be done on two wheels.

If you want to join us in the Trials UK section just call in and purchase some tickets in the shop (sorry cash only) and enjoy the night with us.

Trials UK Media are in attendance at the greatest indoor arena trial of the year capturing the action from build up to podium and making them available exclusively for our thousands of web site members.

We will be at the event all day feeding images through our Facebook page and also getting plenty of behind the scenes pictures for our members to enjoy.

Trials UK were in attendance at the Y&G Mel Harrison Sidecar National, which also had a class for solos. Riding as a group of four Trials UK Nige, Simon Green, Clive and Richard Armistead set off on their first attempt at this highly regarded event. 

The weather defied the forecast early on and ranged from damp to torrential at times. Which made road sections a bit hard on the face at speed... uurr i mean 30 miles an hour.. officer! 

Luckily the clouds parted by the time we were at Brimham Rocks and the rest of the day was bathed in glorious sunlight. 

A healthly entry of 20 sidecars and 50 solos tackled 36 sections over 4 seperate pieces of land spread over a 20 mile circuit arond the beautiful countryside surrounding Pateley Bridge.

The day started well with the signing on area being nicely situated in a nice cafe serving hearty breakfasts and a good brew. From there the first group of sections was the Lead mines at Greenhow which consisted of some extremely slippy stream sections and rocky outcrops. Then onto a new piece of land for 3 sections on the way to Brimham Rocks which had a group of 9 testing sections half way round the course. A change of punch cards and refuelling both bike and belly set us up for the ride over to Fell Beck to tackle the final group of sections of stream, hills and rocks high up on the windy hill side. Then it was back to Pateley Bridge to sign off.

This event must have taken an aweful lot of organising and the Y&G team of Janet & Mel Harrison along with their many helpers did a sterling job of putting on a superb trial that was taxing without being death defying, and above all a great ride round some of the best trials land bar none. A massive thank you must go to the observers, many of whom observed 2 totally seperate groups of sections in the cold and rain, and we all greatly appreciate all they did for us so we could have a day out on our bikes.

All things taken into consideration I and all my friends would describe this event as the best days trialling we have ever had and can not praise it highly enough.

We are pleased to announce Trials UK be in force at the Sherco Weekend Extravaganza this year at Harefield Hall, Pateley Bridge, Nr. Harrogate, North Yorks., HG3 5QE. on Saturday, 29^th October. 

Trials UK will have demo bikes to try out on the Saturday for FREE so give us a call on 01132 81 82 42 to reserve the times you would like to test them.Testing will kick off from 0930 on the Saturday and finish at 4pm.

The full MRS team will be there to demonstrate just what these superb machines are capable of, and you will be riding along side them.

Not only will you be riding with some of the best riders in the UK, you will also get to meet the designer of Sherco Josep Paxau and the Sherco Export Manager Arnau.

Bookings are filling fast now for time slots on each bike so dont hang around if there is a particular time you need.

There is no restriction on how many times you can try the bikes and there will be 20+ bikes available to ride on the day. All you need to do is just book 15min slots in advance and you can have a good days testing on these amazing perfected machines.

After riding all day Saturday you can get freshened up and come back to the hotel for a (long) night of fun and beer with the MRS team and dealers. If you have the staying power. 

Then Sunday is a full day of practice with the MRS team at a venue to be confirmed.

Please dont forget to bring your riding gear with you, to what will be an amazing weekend of fun.

It rained like hell but it didnt put off these determined youngsters from having a great time with their friends.

Pete leaves 6 year old William who loved to come the the shop with his dad and play around the bikes. 

Pete was fighting cancer right to the end and managed to hold it at bay longer than was originally expected. He is greatly missed and our thoughts are with his family in this deeply sad time.

Funeral arrangements are being finalised and anyone wishing to attend please contact us here and we will pass on details when we receive them.

The funeral has been arranged for Wednesday 24th August at Rawdon Cremetorium at 11:30.

As the lightening cracked and the thunder quite literally roared, 25 E-class riders braved the stormy conditions to compete in Yeadon Guiseley DMC's showcase event, the MacKenzie Trial at Brimham Rocks.

Young riders from all over the UK completed three laps of five individually observed and taped sections. And being scored by punch cards really made it a stand out event for the boys and girls.

Sue Smith and Janet Harrison collated the scores to provide an instant result that culminated in the first two riders being separated by only a single dab.

The winners trophies and riders medals were handed out by Yeadon Guiseley's British Champion James Dabill. The four hour journey paid off for Banbury rider Dale Freeman who won the 16" class on just 2 dabs, followed by Henry Stephenson on 3. Local boy Harry Mugridge who has improved steadily over the course of the season came in a clear third from the rest of the field on 8.

Charlie Crossland was awarded first in the small wheels class, followed by Myles Hutchinson and Alex Horne in third.

Ella Smith, daughter of Oset creator Ian Smith was delighted being first of the girls. Trials UK's Charlot Pearson was second on the podium with Taylor Crossland taking third.

Mike Hinch, president of Yeadon Guiseley DMC, said: "To showcase the electric class at such a high profile event was a great way to publicly display what together with Oset, we've been doing all year."

Barry Huskinson, from Oset bikes who observed section four prior to heading off to practice for the senior national himself, said: "The turnout was incredible and made even more spectacular given the atrocious weather. The sections were well thought-out and we were delighted to see so many Osets in one place being used as they were intended."
