Special Edition SSDT Oset winner drawn
Scottish Six Day Trial 2013 Special Edition Oset Draw

This years SSDT charities had a great help raising money thanks to Oset bikes and Trials UK. A one off special edition "Scottish" electric bike was offered as an incentive for people to donate to two very worthwhile causes. The "Forces Childrens Trust" and "Bike Tours for the Wounded" both of whom support families whom have suffered life changing injuries due to conflict.
The special SSDT Oset had pride of place at the head of the Sunday parade of 275 bikes through the High St of Fort William, ridden by Trials UK's team rider George Hemingway along side the Bike Tours for the Wounded's "Respect" bike.
After the parade a draw was held to pick the winner and Rhoda Rathmell, wife of Malcolm Rathmell, kindly picked out the lucky winner who was Karen Shaw. Karen works hard at the charity organisation "Army of Angels" also raising money for forces charities. Well done Karen and we look forward to presenting you with your fantastic prize. Their great work can be helped here at http://www.armyofangels.org.uk/
Donations are still welcomed either online at Virgin Money Giving here - http://bit.ly/10HyINo or by cash at the Trials UK shop. Thank you to all who have helped us raise a substantial amount to help families all around the country.

Win an Oset and help SSDT charities

The Scottish Six Days Trial is the biggest event in the worldwide trials calendar and this year, while we are supplying all the best trials products next to the start ramp, we hope to help make a difference by raising money for SSDT causes.
Trials UK in association with OSET Bikes have provided an amazing prize of a very Special Edition SSDT OSET 16” Bike. To be in with a chance of winning this fantastic bike, all you need to do is make a donation either online by cliking the Virgin Money Giving logo or dropping cash into the donation buckets at the Trials UK shop or at the Scottish Six Day Trial in May. For every £1 donated you receive numbers with your name against them, so the more you donate, the more chances you will have of your name being picked from the hat following the SSDT Parade on Sunday 5th May.
The bike has been very kindly donated by OSET CEO Ian Smith and extensively customised by Trials UK with the help of Frazer from All Signage of Skipton. Every penny raised will go to this year’s chosen charities which are “The Forces Children’s Trust” and “Bike Tours for the Wounded” whom both really make a difference to the lives of the injured and the families of those sadly lost in conflict.
The Forces Children’s Trust is charity devoted to helping children whose father or mother has died, or has sustained life threatening injuries whilst serving as a member of the Armed Forces.

TR1AL Competition Winner- Brad Fielden
We have great pleasure in announcing the winner of our competition, in partnership with the TR1AL factory, to win a set of the amazing new TR1AL gear.
We had a massive entry of several hundred right answers (and a lot of wrong ones too!) and the winner picked at random form the hat was Brad Fielden from New South Wales in Australia. Brad is a fairly new and very keen trials rider who has found our great sport and loves it! Brad had this to say:-
"Hi Nige !! I got the package this afternoon when I got home from work I was so stoked to get this gear & fits so comfortably I can't wait to get out on my bike to try it this summer season !!
Thank you so so much you guys at Trials UK are awesome !! You have a great product line and at a great price ! I will shopping with guys again very soon.
Cheers, Brad Fielden"
Well done Brad, we are glad you like the new gear and we look forward to helping you out in the future.

Stolen Team Bike- Please keep your eye out

Our team rider Sam Boocock has had his garage cleared by scum in the Shelf area of Halifax. He has lost a brand new Sherco 300 Frame No. VNBS530TRCA026358 ENGINE NO. SH30026358.
Also lost a top end CUBE mountain bike and numerous tools. The bike had some extra rim stickers adding which have a WBS logo on to match Nathan Wrigglesworths bike.
Any help or information would be gratefully received by calling Trials UK on 01132 81 82 42 or let Sam or the Police know.
Thank you.
Eddys Extreme Enduro 2013
Round 1 is on Sunday 27th January 2013 at Parwood Offroad Centre in Tong
We have great pleasure in announcing the dates for the 2013 Eddy’s X-treme. For a third successive season the ACU have committed their trust in Fast Eddy to promote these prestigious championship events. The first sees a return to the popular circuit of Parkwood 4×4 Centre, Tong on Sunday 27th January for what should be the most exciting extreme event in the UK.
Over the last two seasons there has been the best rider line-up in the UK with Knight, Jarvis, Walker, Lampkin, Bolton and other extreme enduro specialists. This year will be no different with David Knight and Graham Jarvis already confirming their attendance for the 2013 events.
A new race format has been planned to allow a morning event for Vets, Sportsman and Youth riders on a technical but challenging course. But the big news is that we will be having a Pro, Expert and Clubman only race which will see the hardest and extreme event ever to hit the UK scene.
Horsforth & DMC & West Leeds Awards 2012
Horsforth & DMC Awards 2012 - Juniors 9th Feb, Seniors 15th Feb
Juniors Prize Presentation- 9th Feb
Horsforth and DMC and West Leeds Motor Club Junior Awards 2013 (for 2012 awards).
Due to the growing youth scene at both our clubs we have decided to give the juniors a more interesting and fun awards presentation, rather than them getting bored at our formal awards night. So this year we have booked a superb venue in Skipton which is the factory farm that makes Yorkshire Dales Ice Cream.
Along with a fantastic facility with great food and of course the best ice cream in the world, they also have a massive play barn full of hay stacks and foam with rope swings, slides and death defying leaps into foam and mattress pits. Big kids can also join in and be shown up by the young superstars too.
